Rima Imburgia, LCPC is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, and Collaborative Leadership Consultant serving individuals, couples, groups and organizations. Whether one-on-one, or in the context of an organizational program, her work is holistic in perspective, helping clients to integrate all aspects of themselves toward more fulfilling work, personal lives, and relationships.
Rima’s therapeutic style may be described as relational, honoring and attending to her client’s full experience while striving for authentic connection. Informed by client needs and the latest findings in neuroscience of resiliency, her work is drawn from an eclectic mix of therapeutic orientations and interventions such as; traditional talk therapy, relational-cultural therapy, and contemporary cognitive, behavioral, and body-centered therapies.
She uses mindfulness and resiliency practices to help her clients increase awareness, nurture self-acceptance, and deepen emotional intelligence in the context of relationships.
Rima is bi-cultural (Palestinian-American), has lived internationally and traveled extensively. Her family immigrated to the United States when she was 8.5 years old. She is Co-Founder of Women’s Leadership Lab, a training organization committed to the empowerment of female leaders in the global marketplace. She leads/facilitates Healing Racism Within; my country, my community, my self.
