I want to help clients feel safe, secure, and supported so that they can make positive changes in their lives. My style is person centered and working on gentle attunement and providing encouragement to move towards change. I want to help you find the strengths your already have and grow into advocating for your needs and make positive changes in your life.
Jenni received her MA in counseling psychology and is a board-certified art therapist. Jenni also holds a mental health counseling license in the state of Florida. Throughout her career, she has worked in private practice, hospice, inpatient, and residential settings.
Jenni is a sex-positive and LGBTQA+ allied/affirming/accomplice therapist, and she helps clients with struggles such as loss, chronic illness, eating disorders, mood disorders, and more. Jenni comes from a strengths based focus.
While Jenni implements a variety of therapeutic techniques such as Art Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Mindfulness, DBT, Adlerian Parenting, and trauma informed techniques to help clients in their journey. Jenni is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and incorporates it as appropriate into her work with clients.
She provides a comfortable environment and affirming atmosphere for clients to feel challenged and supported as they work to create change.
