Chinese Medicine

Chinese Medicine is an ancient system of healing techniques that dates back thousands of years. It is made up of a total of eight different modalities; acupuncture, herbs, cupping, gua sha, seven star needle, moxibustion, tui na (massage), and nutrition. One or more of these modalities are employed to treat a wide variety of conditions that range from pain, to hormonal imbalances, digestive disorders, mental and emotional disorders, and nearly everything in between. It is safe and natural and has been in use all over the world for many centuries, and is continually being redefined and refined. At the same time, Chinese, or more broadly, East Asian Medicine, is being rediscovered as many practitioners have returned to the classical practices used before the modern TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) format was introduced in the 1950’s in Communist China.
