Amy is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who utilizes a compassionate, strengths based approach working collaboratively with each individual to overcome present and past struggles. Amy utilizes evidenced-based mindfulness approaches and therapy models in her work with individuals, groups and organizations to join with them in realizing their goals for healing and well-being in a safe and supportive environment. She is a trained EMDR therapist, is an iaedp Certified Eating Disorder specialist and approved supervisor and is certified in mind-body medicine through the Center for Mind-Body Medicine.
She brings almost 30 years of experience in the health and mental health field providing direct service, supervision and program development in medical, residential, partial hospitalization and outpatient levels of care. Amy has extensive experience in facilitating motivation and behavioral change in improving health outcomes. In addition to her outpatient private practice since 2009, she has had the pleasure of providing workshops to businesses, mom’s groups, college students and high schools and on topics such as work-life balance, mindful eating and living, promoting positive body image.
